Dr Michel Zabik: Dentist

Dr-Michel-ZabikDr Michel Zabik has now joined the team at Divine Dental to add advanced Orthodontics to the already comprehensive range of dental solutions available at Divine Dental.

Dr Zabik, BDS Otago. graduated with awards in Periodontology and Restorative Dentistry in 1988, Dr Zabik has exclusively practiced Aesthetic, Reconstructive and Orthodontic Dentistry for the past 25 years.

With advanced skills in the areas of Cosmetic Dentistry, Holistic Dentistry, Invisalign Orthodontics, Tooth Replacement, Problem Dentures, Mouth Reconstruction and Teeth Whitening, Michel has had extensive training in these advanced techniques both in Australia and overseas. He has trained with Dr Bill Dorfman, of Extreme Makeover USA fame and also at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dentistry in the USA.

Over many years of rebuilding mouths, Dr Zabik realized that it was important to have teeth in their correct position before working on them. Often if teeth are in a bad position it can negatively affected the outcome of treatment. This motivated Dr Z to study orthodontics and he undertook the highly regarded POS, 2-year orthodontic training program. Michel successfully completed this course and was awarded an ICCDE Fellowship in orthodontics.

Dr Zabik has treated many orthodontic cases and provides all facets of orthodontic treatment including fixing crowded teeth, crooked teeth, gaps, bad bites and improving smiles. He uses a full range of treatments - regular metal braces, white braces, Invisalign and the newest Clear Correct, just released from USA.

Raised in Canada, Michel emigrated to Australia in 1989 and has lived in Queensland for the past 21 years. Michel is married with four young children and is an active member of the Australian Dental Association, Australian Dental Research Foundation and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
